Personally out of respect, i don't think Barry should beat Aaron's record. Barry is a bunch of BS anyway and doesn't deserve to be in the record books.

He really shouldn't. but it won't really matter because A-Rod will get the new home run record anyway

Check the stats: A-Rod is 32 with 500 homers after 12 years pro equalling just under 42 homers per year. Hank Aaron had 500 after 12 years pro at age 32, and he ended up with 755 homers after 23 years pro equalling just under 33 homers per year. Barry Bonds had 500 homers after 15 years at age 37, currently has 755 home runs after 22 years pro, equalling just over 34 home runs a year. Basically if A-Rod stays healthy, he will easily beat the home tun record because he has managed to maintain more consistent home runs numbers than Bonds or Aaron.

It isn't steroids that help you hit home runs, it's the timing of when you swing the bat numb nuts.

Not always, if you have a more powerful swing then the ball is gonna go farther.

Elmo there is a reason that all performance enhancing drugs are illegal in sports, and thats basically the reason that people Barry's name should have an astericks next to it in the record books
